Disclosure of Directory Information
Point Park University, in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, has designated the following items as directory information: student name, addresses (including electronic), telephone number(s), dates and place of birth, field(s) or program(s) of study, participation in officially recognized activities, photographs, enrollment status, dates of attendance, height, weight, degrees, awards and honors received, previous schools attended, and post‐completion placements, including employment and graduate school attendance. Point Park University may disclose any of the above listed items without the student’s prior written consent, unless the Registrar’s Office has been notified in writing to the contrary.
All other student academic information is considered confidential and will not be released, with certain exceptions, without the student’s written permission.
A student’s grades and financial information are considered confidential information. Therefore, if you wish to have your grades/financial information released to your parent, you need to sign this form to authorize the University to do so.
