Transfer Pioneer Day is a one-day, on-campus orientation program for new transfer students starting at Point Park University in Fall 2024.

  • Transfer Pioneer Day, Friday, August 2, 2024
  • Transfer Pioneer Day is for new transfer students who are NOT in the Conservatory major (COPA).
    COPA transfer students are required to register for and attend Pioneer Experience instead.

Only submit one registration.  If you want to make a change to a registration, email orientation@pointpark.edu or call the Office of Student Affairs at 412-392-3840 with the change.

 

In addition to registering for Pioneer Experience, make sure to read the information provided online at pointpark.edu/pioneerexperience, including:

 

  • The main page briefly explains Transfer Pioneer Day.
  • The FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) page includes information on the orientation fee, what to bring to Transfer Pioneer Day, session begin and end times, as well as other important information.
  • Students will receive an email approximately three (3) business days prior to their session providing final details. This email will go to the student's Point Park email address. Please use your Point Park email address when registering for the Transfer Pioneer Day as all official university communication should go through this email.

ORIENTATION COMMITMENT

I understand that as a Point Park student I am required to obtain a Point Park student ID and will follow all instructions provided on the ID Center page so that my ID can be created and is available when I arrive on campus for Transfer Pioneer Day. I also understand that in order to obtain a student ID I will be required to upload two (2) photos, including one that is from a government-issued source, and I will need to be registered for classes. Instructions for how to upload your photos to obtain your student ID can be found at on our web site - ID Center.
